Checking Out and Payment

Is there a minimum order?
Yes, there is a minimum of $95 per order. You may still place an order that falls below this amount; however, you’ll be charged the minimum amount.

Are there any additional charges?
Aside from the cost of renting the equipment, there is also a fee for delivery of the equipment. Also, if the equipment is returned in a damaged state, we may assess further charges to your card.

How does payment work and what forms of payment do you accept?
Your card information is needed to complete your reservation and will be charged upon placing an order on our site. We accept credit cards during checkout powered by Paypal.

Is the checkout secure?
Yes. The page is protected with an SSL certificate. Data sent from the checkout form will be encrypted.

 

Returns and Cancellations

Can I make changes to my order?
Yes. If you need to make changes to your order please contact Baby Aboard either by email info@babyaboard.com or phone (808) 393-7612 as soon as possible. We will then refund or add additional charges to your order based on the changes.

What is your cancellation Policy?
We understand that travel plans can change. There are no charges on orders canceled prior to 48 hours of the delivery date. Orders canceled within 48 hours of the delivery date will be charged 50% of the original order. No refunds will be made after delivery has been attempted or for any unused rental days in the case of early return. Partial orders canceled during the stay will incur an additional pick-up fee of $35.

 

Delivery

At what times are deliveries done?
Deliveries are generally arranged within a three hour window between the hours of 9am – 6pm everyday. If no one is available at the location during your designated delivery or pick up time there will be an attempt to reschedule with an additional fee. For all Hotel deliveries, items will be available for pick up at the bell desk with the exception of orders that include wooden cribs. For orders that include a wooden crib, delivery will need to take place in the room where the crib will be used.

What are the delivery rates?
Delivery rates can range between $0 to $45 and are based on the distance traveled to your destination. Delivery on the North Shore is FREE from Mokuleia to the Turtle Bay Resort! All rates include delivery, pick up and any necessary assembly of equipment. See our delivery map.

Do you assemble the cribs?
Yes. The person who delivers your equipment will also assemble the crib when they get there and then disassemble the crib when they return for the pick up. Clients are not allowed to assemble or disassemble cribs. If you will not be available at the drop off location when delivery is done please establish where the crib is to be built prior to the delivery date. As stated above, orders that include a wooden crib, delivery will need to take place in the room where the crib will be used.

Can you pick up from a location different than the original delivery location?
If you need your items picked up from a different location than they were dropped off at this can be easily done. Additional fees may apply depending on the location. This service is not available when renting full size cribs. Full size cribs must be assembled and disassembled by the delivery person and cannot be assembled or disassembled by the renter. If you need a crib transferred to a different location please designate that on your order form under the comments section. An additional fee will apply for any crib transfers. Please note that if no one is available at the location during your designated delivery or pick up time, there will be an attempt to reschedule and an additional fee may apply.

Do you deliver to airports?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide delivery to the airport or car rental agencies.

Do you provide long-term rentals?
Long-term rentals are available upon request and apply on orders lasting more than 2 weeks.

 

The Equipment

Are your products safe and clean?
All Products are up-to-date and meet all the current federal safety standards. Products are checked after use and replaced as needed with a focus on the changing baby industry. For more information on product safety please see the Consumer Products Safety Commission at www.cpsc.gov. All equipment is properly cleaned, laundered and sanitized using nontoxic products after every rental.

Can you install car seats?
Sorry but we do not install car seats. Information on installing car seats is posted on the car seats themselves. Local fire stations can also install car seats.

What about damages/lost or stolen products?
Unfortunately we cannot insure any rental equipment against damages, theft or loss. With the exception of high chairs, it is highly recommended that no food or leaky bottles be given to children while using the equipment. Products must be returned in the condition received or a fee to be assessed at the time of return will apply to the credit card on file. The renter is responsible for loss or theft of rental equipment and agrees to pay for any replacements needed. Products must be returned with all accessories and parts intact and in proper working order. Any excess damage to rental equipment aside from normal wear will be repaired or replaced (depending on the condition) at the expense of the renter. Any additional fees resulting from loss, theft, repair or replacement will apply to the credit card on file.

Will I receive the equipment pictured?

All items are subject to availability and may vary in brand, model or color.

 

Damage & Dirty Policy

We love our gear and take great care and pride in delivering you pristine baby gear. So please love our stuff like it’s your own. If the words “eww,” “yuck,” “gross,” “disgusting” or “uh-oh” are used by our delivery team when we pick up our gear, you can look forward to a cleaning / repair charge of up to $50.
If your baby is teething, we highly recommend that you use crib guards.
